“HOVIE SUP COMET maiden voyage test results – the test runs were .75 miles each going into the current and against the current with little wind. Adam Cain was on a 14 Bark Dominator and I was on a 14 Comet. Keep in mind this was my very first paddle on this board. 1st run with the current the Hovie Comet was 25 seconds faster than the Bark. 2nd run into the current the Comet was 27 seconds faster. Adam and I swapped boards and the results were very similar. The stability of the 14 was great – the self bailing contoured deck in the back works great and provided sure footing for making turns – the board was very stable turning – The HOVIE COMET is the cats meow for speed and stability.
